Id say this is probably by far my most favourite shoot of 2012 so far and may continue to be for a long while.So after we established we were all free we passed some ideas around and because I am a massive fan of Pop Art especially that of Roy Lichtenstein I suggested we plotted a shoot around that idea. My friend Shepy had also sent me an image feature mega garish make up a few weeks previously saying it reminded him of me and it stuck in my head.Josephine practised on her sister a couple of times and the results on her pictures looked pretty cool but it didnt prepare me for how well it all worked at the shoot. I had loads of luggage and we didnt get to shoot long but I am kinda pleased about it the guy rolled up with ancient equipment and at one point I even had to hold the reflector. Was really really bad craic.I cant use any of the images I will make myself look rubbish by posting a couple on my blog though. This time I will be having a ramble about a group shoot I attended last month. Went to BananaStudio with friends mostly and done 4 hours worth of shooting and having a laugh. I quite like arranging the group shoots but I feel responsible on the day and tend to always end up out of pocket and now when one of the togs hasnt given any images to the girls I feel somehow responsible.This shoot was attended by 4 models and 3 photographers a ratio which worked quite well. There was always one model getting ready.I used to love Bananastudio me and my Nicholas did a shoot there last year where I was modeling Able Grable blouses and frilly knickers and the shots were awesome. They used to have sets there and variety and I have to say the plain backgrounds they have there now are pretty dull in comparison. Was nice its odd that I find it easier to get on with Nicks family than I do with my own. Dont really know what my familys beef is to be honest whatever I do simply isnt good enough so Ive given up trying to impress them I am just going to make me happy.
